This notice explains what personal information is collected through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It's written to be read rather than survived.

Who's responsible for your data

This site is operated by Currahee Works Ltd, trading as We Are The Way Through, of [BUSINESS ADDRESS], United Kingdom. That's the data controller for anything described here.

What's collected

If you request the free exercise or join a waiting list: your email address, and the date you gave it.

If you buy something: your email address and your order details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — your card number never touches this site and is never seen or stored by me.

If you email me: whatever you choose to put in the email.

No account is created. No profile is built. No personal information is requested that isn't needed to send you the thing you asked for.

Why, and on what legal basis

• To send you what you asked for — the free exercise, or a product you've bought. Basis: performing the agreement between us.
• To send occasional letters about the work, if you've subscribed. Basis: your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately.
• To keep records of sales as required by UK tax law. Basis: legal obligation.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run this. They process data on my instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:

• [EMAIL PROVIDER] — stores the mailing list and sends the emails.
• Stripe — takes payments. Stripe is the controller of your payment data and holds it under its own privacy policy.
• [HOSTING PROVIDER] — serves this website.

Your information is never sold, rented, or traded. It is not shared with advertisers.

Where it's held

Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision — the standard safeguards required by UK law.

How long it's kept

Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe, and are then deleted within 30 days. Sales records are kept for six years, because HMRC requires it. Emails you send me are kept for as long as they're relevant, and then deleted.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no tracking pixels. Nothing follows you off this page. If that changes, this section changes first, and a cookie banner will appear before anything non-essential is set.

Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages, which are necessary for payments and fraud prevention.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me to: give you a copy of what I hold, correct anything wrong, delete it, restrict what I do with it, send it to you in a portable format, or stop processing it. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Email hello@wearethewaythrough.com and I'll respond within one month. There's no charge.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. I'd rather you came to me first, but that route is always open to you.

Under 18

This work isn't intended for under-18s, and the mailing list isn't either. If you believe a child's information has been collected, email me and I'll delete it.

Changes

If this notice changes materially, subscribers will be told by email rather than left to notice a date change.
